How Did The American Dream Work
The American Dream had so much potential due to the combination of multiple political, economic, and geographical factors. The outcome of the Civil War left a large land mass under one government, which eventually become offered up in large sections as incentive to have people settle. The United States has beautiful weather that is perfect for agriculture, unlike its neighbors, Canada, which is too cold, and Mexico, which is too hot. Within its reach included an abundance of natural resources, such as oil and rainfall, in addition to ports, which boosted the economy in the sense of trade.
